|Workflow Centre: a document flow management application
Workflow and document flow have been recently very popular business terms. Each company needs to organise its workflow and document flow and every management has to identify and deal with these processes properly. Workflow may apply to very simple processes such as business trips or holiday leaves forms but also to more sophisticated ones like investment applications or product market researching.
IT software companies are working very hard to provide best solutions for these processes but no universal solution has been developed as yet. A solution to meet all needs in this area.
One of the most interesting and promising models developed so describing document flow processes is the orthogonal workflow model.
The orthogonal workflow model assumes that each process operating in a company can be described in three-dimensions: people, processes, documents.
Once an application independent of these three elements can be developed, it will be possible to create a universal system, independent of changes taking place in each company.
The solution we provide is based on a number of years of experience in planning and developing workflow applications for Lotus Domino/Notes platforms.
Basing on that experience we have developed a software tool that allows to easily model and design a workflow application using a Designer client.
It enables a user basically skilled in Domino Designer to design any document flow application, configure it, and use it effectively.
The user’s task is therefore limited to developing document forms with required fields, feeding information on organisation structure of the company, and describing a document flow procedure.

complete control of circulated information (access authorisations based on Lotus Notes/Domino principles),
operated via WEB and Lotus Notes client,
integrated with other applications if required (MS Office, relational databases, ARIS)
